Habibi Roots Co. was created from a simple love for plants and the belief that growing something with your own hands is powerful.
“Habibi” means my love — and that’s exactly how we treat every plant we grow.
We specialize in cultivating and propagating healthy, rooted houseplants grown with patience, intention, and attention to detail. From cuttings to fully established plants, every piece that leaves our grow space has been nurtured in a carefully maintained indoor environment designed for strong roots, vibrant foliage, and long-term success.
This isn’t mass production. This is hands-on plant care.

🌱 Propagation Transparency
At Habibi Roots Co., we believe plant buyers deserve to know exactly how their plants are grown.
Here’s our process:
🌿 Mother Plant Selection
All cuttings are taken from healthy, established mother plants that show strong growth patterns and stable variegation (when applicable). Mother plants are routinely inspected for pests and nutrient balance.
✂️ Cutting & Rooting Process
Cuttings are taken using sterilized tools to prevent disease transmission.
We root primarily in:
• Water propagation (for monitoring root development)
• Perlite / moss mixes for stronger root structure
• Soil transitions once roots are established
Cuttings are never sold prematurely. We wait for secondary root development whenever possible.
🌞 Controlled Indoor Growing
Plants are grown indoors under supplemental LED lighting with consistent light cycles. Humidity and airflow are managed to encourage healthy root systems and compact growth.
This helps reduce transplant shock when plants move to their new homes.
🪴 Establishment Standard
We prioritize selling:
✔️ Rooted plants over fresh cuttings
✔️ Plants with stable root systems
✔️ Specimens that have adjusted to soil (when applicable)
If a plant is newly rooted, it will always be clearly labeled.
🧼 Pest Management
We practice proactive pest monitoring and preventative care. Plants are inspected regularly and isolated if necessary to protect the rest of the grow space.
📦 Packaging & Shipping (If Applicable)
Plants are packaged carefully to protect roots and foliage during transit. We aim to minimize stress while maintaining sustainability in packaging materials whenever possible.
